Hi, I'm Carmen, founder of Chaos to Calm.
I'm a counsellor, wellbeing professional, mother, ovarian cancer survivor, and someone who understands that life doesn't always go to plan!
Like many of the people I work with, I've experienced seasons of overwhelm, uncertainty, grief, change, and the pressure of trying to hold everything together while supporting everyone else around me.
Several years ago, my life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Following major surgery and surgical menopause, I found myself navigating not only the physical impacts of recovery, but also the emotional and mental challenges that came with it.
That experience deepened my understanding of resilience, healing, and the powerful connection between our thoughts, emotions, body, and overall wellbeing.
Chaos to Calm was born from a simple belief:
You don't have to stay stuck in survival mode.
I created this practice to provide a safe, supportive space where people can slow down, be heard, gain clarity, and develop practical tools to move forward with confidence.
My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and focused on the whole person.
I believe lasting wellbeing involves more than just talking about problems. It involves understanding ourselves, building healthy habits, reconnecting with our strengths, and creating change that feels sustainable.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, life transitions, confidence struggles, relationship challenges, grief, or simply feeling stuck, you don't have to face it alone.
Through Chaos to Calm, I support women, men, and teens to strengthen their emotional wellbeing, build resilience, and create positive change in their lives.
Alongside counselling, I am passionate about the connection between mind and body. Through our partnership with NXT LVL Performance, clients also have the option to access movement and fitness support, because true wellbeing often happens when both mind and body are working together.
